TV Takeover: Gossip Girl

It's no secret that I watch a lot of tv.

You can tell that by looking at my Twitter for maybe a whole 2 seconds.

Whether it's detective shows or reality tv, you could probably find me not only watching it, but also tweeting about it.

I keep up with so many shows, some of which being Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Pretty Little Liars, BBC's Sherlock, Brooklyn Nine Nine, The Fosters, and much m u c h more.

But I also watch quite a bit of Netflix.

I've started The Vampire Diaries, Dance Academy, and my favorite, Gossip Girl.

Gossip Girl is a huge obsession of mine. I love every single thing about it.

The fashion.

The boys.

The drama.

Did I mention the fashion?

What's not to love?!

Ok, having stated that. The couples I ship:

aaaand I used to ship Dan and Serena, but he gets on my nerves so aha no. no more dan.

However, I am only on season 2. I have no idea how I'm only this far, I watch it all. the. time. Like every spare moment of my life is spent watching episode after episode. It's a bit. .obsessive. .but anyway. Are any of you guys as obsessed as I am?

OOOOH GUYS!! I finally watched Breakfast At Tiffany's last week!
Audrey Hepburn is a true classic beauty o m g.
Talk about perfection.

Aaaaand I have exams today and tomorrow, wish me luck!
Spring Break is next week! Yay!

So the Oscars last night. .

Ok so if you didn't watch the Oscars last night, you missed out on life. 

That's going to be the gist of this post. Because it's accurate in every way.

Some of the things you missed were Lupita Nyong'o, Meryl Streep, and Amy Adams dancing with Pharrell Williams during his performance of Happy, Benedict Cumberbatch in all of his suited glory, Ellen taking and tweeting a h u g e celeb selfie that blew up twitter, Ellen dressed as a pretty pink princess, Jarod Leto's speech, Matthew Mcconaughey's speech, Lupita's speech, Zac Efron in a tux, Jennifer Lawrence tripping again, Jonah Hill asking Ellen if she wanted to 'see it', and much much more. 

But you really missed out on some amazing fashion statements.

and hey he has the legs for it!  BUT I still prefer the hat.

The Hart Of Fashion?

I cannot be the only one who has an unhealthy obsession with Rachel Bilson's clothes on Hart Of Dixie. The endless circle skirt+t shirt+ statement necklace combinations that her character wears and still manages to make each of them look fresh and new is impeccable. But this girl's style isn't limited to the screen only. She has an amazing street style as well. She's also got beautiful hair and flawless skin and agh maybe my obsession is with Rachel herself and her clothing choices just add to it. . ? Yeah, probably.

Alt-J Concert

Hello! I cannot believe I didn't jump into the blogging phase as soon as I go home from the Alt-J concert on September 21. Oh wait..yes I can..I was beyond tired. And my feet were sweaty. (Awkward pause) But since I didn't do it then, I'll do it now!

Our seats were row N at the Ryman in Nashville and they were literally last row but also the second closest concert I've been to (the first being Ed Sheeran at the Hard Rock Cafe earlier this year). But woooow SOO EXTREMELY CLOSE AGH! It was flawless :)

Ok so the opening band: Lord Huron. Wooooow boy. They were absolutely amazing!!! They were so entertaining!! The main singer was jumping up and down and banging on his little drum with so much force his hat fell off and just ah. I wanna go back sooo bad! They played for a good 45ish minutes and then there was the intermission before the main band came out.

Then it was Alt-J's turn to hit the stage. Just let me tell you. They were amazing and flawless and loud and the lights were so bright and ahhh. I just live for concerts guys. You don't even understand. They played all of my favorite songs (aka all of them), BUT MY PHONE DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAST SONG AND I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO MURDER SOMEONE. O M G.

But the concert was the most chill-hipster scene-head bobbing-fashionable concert I've been to in my entire life. It was just tremendous.

I have videos and pictures on my Instagram from the night. Sorry it took me like ten years to post this, but I haven't had the chance.

What did I wear? Well I'll tell ya what I wore! I wore a white shmancy tshirt form H&M that had a diamond look circling the neck with a small slit on the back near the nape of my neck and and the front right below the diamond threaded. .badazzlement. .(yeah).  Since it was hot before the concert and freezing afterward so I knew I'd need pants of some sort so I settled for my American Eagle boyfriend jeans. And as for shoes I threw on my H&M printed flats (that are featured here!)

All in all I just can't explain the love I have for this band to you guys. And the concert has made that obsession grow about 1000000 times more.

Fall Makeup Trends

Hello!  I'm going to say it's fall, even though it's literally 90 degrees outside right now, it's fall. This hot weather is driving me insane. I thought fall was here and then it turned around on me and just ugh. But since (in my head) it's already fall, we should totally discuss fall makeup trends!! I believe that I'm going out on a limb here and say that I may -just maybe- switch from a CC cream to a foundation. Maybe. I make no promises. I love my CC cream, but I do believe that the colder seasons calls for a more liquidy substance.
